A moped must have an engine under 50cc.
A design speed of not more than 31 mph (50 kph).
A maximum weight limit of 250 kg.
Mopeds are not allowed on motorways.
It is illegal to modify a mopeds speed or performance;
any changes to a machines design could make your licence and insurance invalid.
